It’s grey and rainy here in LA despite the fact that the first day of Spring was this week. I’m actually very into the cold, cozy vibe at present; I’m cuddled up with a giant mug of tea, some warm socks, Billie Holiday playing and approximately 800 candles burning lol {You know I LOVE a good candle moment}.

Despite my present contentment I know soon I’ll be itching for everything SPRING and there is no question what is going at the top of my list:

ALL ROSE EVERYTHING

I have been very into rose for quite a while now. My and Mark’s wedding song was “La Vie En Rose”, my go-to lip balm since high school is rose scented and we all know I live for a great rosé. However, I have a hunch it’s going to be more than just me celebrating rose this Spring. My gut tells me everything will be coming up roses.

I literally am living La Vie En Rose right now because anything I can get in rose scent/flavor, I WILL.

Here are some of my rose MUST-HAVE’s and rose dreams, sure to put some Spring in your step no matter the weather.

Rose Scents

We all know I have a slight Diptyque obsession. I’m clearly not alone, and normally shy away from popular items because who wants to be the same as everybody else? But Diptyque is worth it. I’ve talked about my love for their gorgeous candles before,  and I have to say Roses may be my favorite scent yet! It’s floral but rich and luxe. I love it so much that I’ve been drowning myself in the perfume version as well, Eau Rose:

Super Cheap Secret Life Hack

Sachets. For everything. I put sachets in my dresser drawers, my car, near the kitchen trash, the linen closet, under my pillow. I live for them. Doesn’t matter how dirty my car is, anytime someone gets in they comment on how great it smells. It’s all in the sachet. Found these beauties on Amazon and just ordered some to replace my current sachet set – how pretty are they?

Rose Beauty Items

This baby has been my go-to since high school. It smells so yummy and has the perfect little bit of tint to make your lips look like a summer day. Also comes in a squeeze tube if you don’t want to dip your fingers into the balm.

FAV FIND OF THE SEASON. Trader Joe’s rosewater facial toner. It’s $3.99 people. It’s like they’re PAYING YOU to enjoy your life. I use this before my makeup in the morning, after I wash my face at night, for a mid-day refresher, on my armpits pre-deodorant. SO good. Bonus points- keep it in the fridge so it’s nice and cool. Smells great. Feels great. Basically free. Must have.

I love a good body scrub. Or body “polish” if you’re bougie, which, let’s be honest, I am- so I am very much into this. Smoother skin, delicious scent AND pretty packaging I can Instagram? Sign me up, plz.

I love Pacifica because they’re Vegan, cruelty free and very affordable. I actually have the roll on perfume of this but I know the lotion will be equally as fab.

Rose DRINKS

This is my current obsession. Blood orange, hibiscus, rose Kombucha. This one is limited edition but it is SO good, I’m hoping they add it on forever. I snagged mine at Whole Foods, but you should be able to grab it anywhere GT’s Kombucha is sold, which is basically anywhere Kombucha is sold, period. You will not be sorry!

If you haven’t had rose tea yet do yourself a favor, put on a tiny hat, grab some crumpets and go get your British on because this ish is BOUGIE AND BEAUTIFUL. Nothing like a floral tea moment to make you feel like you really have your life together. There are a few places in LA that do rose tea lattes and as if that wasn’t bougie enough already I get them with oat or almond milk to really make me feel pretentious. But also, awesome.

I couldn’t get through a post about rose items without mentioning my favorite rosé, Miraval. Are their better rosé wines on the market? Probably. Are their bottles as pretty as this? No. Are they owned by Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie? Definitely not. Miraval is my love. It is deliciously light and crisp, not sweet, and MOST importantly for a wine, obviously, IS SO PRETTY.

Rose for the Soul

Rose quartz is the stone of love. Who doesn’t want more love in their life?! It’s supposed to help ground you in the divine feminine, the universe, and help strengthen your heart in times of grief or in general. I love crystals and we have them throughout our house. If you don’t believe in the spiritual properties of certain stones, they still make for beautiful home accents!
