Summer COLOR

Summer color has me a blast. I have been and, dare I say, always will be a mostly neutral gal. But more and more I’ve found myself craving COLOR lately. Beyond just the pastel pops of my past, as Summer approaches I’m specifically loving BIRGHT fun shades against a neutral backdrop, as evidenced in my nails, above. It sort of reminds me of a hot summer day on the beach, with pops of color amidst the tan sand and bodies.

One of my favorite version of this is bright, oversized shirts and blazers against a neutral bralette and accessories. Very Hailey Bieber. Love THIS bright green budget find I saw on Julia Havens recently. If you’re looking for color but a little more muted THIS orange linen button down would be a perfect swim cover up. Also obsessed with the colorful stripe options HERE.

Speaking of swim, if you prefer to go neutral with your coverup and accessories, THIS orange wrap bikini would be SO cute under a white linen button down with THESE nude, braided sandals. Also love THIS bright green (my fav color this season) bikini if you’re feeling a bit cheeky. More colorful swim HERE.

Bright shoes and bags are another great way to add color without it being overwhelming. THESE wrap heels in any color would be killer against a summer tan, by may pick would be the blue. Back on my bright green game with THIS chain strap quilted bag giving me a bit of Bottega vibe. So many more colorful options HERE.

If you want color without a wardrobe commitment, spice up your workout clothes! Love all the colorful options available HERE, especially the yellow set HERE . Also love THIS in green or orange.

Dresses feel like another fitting area to incorporate color because it’s a one and done pop. Love THESE in all colors of the rainbow. THIS orange, one-strap would be stunning for an al fresco Summer dinner look. Same with THIS satin slip dress in my favorite of-the-moment green.

Lastly, a bright top with white distressed denim, nude accessories and layers of gold jewels is such a vibe. Obsessed with this orange corset and the other orange options HERE. Keep it simple with the neon green crop knit HERE (under $20) or make a statement with THIS incredible hot pink cut that I’m dying over!

PS my nail colors are both OPI. Base is “Put it in neutral” and tips are “Living on the bula-vard“.
