Spring always tends to be a fun, colorful breakout moment for style. However, this year, as we mark 1 year in quarantine from the pandemic it feels even more symbolic for Spring Fashion trends to focus on the fresh, renewal of it all. Here are some spring styles I’m loving this year. A lot of the styles overlap into some blend of feminine, floral, Bridgerton, pastel realness so, if you ask me, that’s the epitome of Spring fashion this year.
Matching sets:
We’re all just getting back into the swing of wearing more than sweats… so let’s go from sweats to sets. Matching sets are big this season, likely because it takes the guesswork out of deciding on our outfits. This silky pistachio green set is a dream. There are tons of beautiful matching set options to shop at Shopbop and here this season too- literally SO many.
Florals:
This floral mini dress is so flirty and understated. Love that the colors are neutral enough to wear it Spring and Summer and then layer with a jean jacket or oversized blazer to transition into Fall. Also love this print, the curated selection found here, and the brand Misa which I recently discovered.
Neutrals & Chocolate:
As much as fun prints and color are coming into play this season, neutrals aren’t going anywhere. Especially notable in neutrals this season is Brown. I love it in all textures from the ribbed mini dress pictured to a silky skirt moment like this. Lots of gorgeous neutrals to shop here too.
Pastels:
I know, pastels and floral for spring… GROUNDBREAKING. But they’re repeated for a reason. They’re timeless and will always be Spring classics. My favorites for this season aren’t necessarily the usual suspects though. I think top colors are pistachio green, orange, yellow and, of course, pink. Soooo many gorgeous pastel colors of the rainbow to shop here. Also loving the pink and gold moment pictured above.
Bridgerton Inspired:
If you haven’t seen Bridgerton yet… get off this post and go watch it STAT. Not only is it sultry Gossip Girl meets romance novel meets period piece but it is major style inspo. It has me craving all the babydoll, puff sleeve, corset I can get my hands on. The above dreamy blue dress is all I could ask for, and pretty much anything by Selkie or Azzeza. Reformation has a Bridgerton vibe to a lot of their recent pieces too, as seen in the floral section. Oh and pretty much anything by For Love and Lemons.
Volume:
As I mentioned, my favorite of the trends overlap. This dress hits pastel, bridgerton vibes and VOLUME, another trend I’m loving. Puff sleeves, puff hems, we are slowly making our debut back into society so debutante vibes it is. Pump it up with all the pieces found here.
