Quarantimes call for

What a time to be alive, right? Getting into my thoughts on the current Coronavirus pandemic would be a novel, and my thoughts and feelings fluctuate but the day/ hour/minute.
Overall, I’d say I’m feeling optimistic and trusting in the good. I’m seeking out ways to reaffirm my faith in humanity and sit in gratitude. In between that I’m spiraling into insane whirlpools of fear and anxiety lol. So I’m pretty sure I’m on par with the common Corona emotions.
Definitely more focused on the good though – and feeling very, very thankful for things I was previously taking for granted.
These are some things that are bringing me joy in this tricky time.

Quarantimes Call For:

+ Reassuring Reading : The Harry Potter series is the good-defeating-evil saga the world ALWAYS needs, but especially right now. You can read the first book of the series FREE if you have Amazon Prime! Just download it to your kindle OR the free Kindle app if, like me, you don’t have a Kindle.

+ Cozy but Cute Clothes : I have become acutely aware of my lack of cute loungewear. So I ordered a few pieces including this set. More cutie sets HERE . Also ordered THIS in Ivory and Olive.

+ Sleep Aids : Every time I lay down to sleep these days, exhausted physically, emotionally, mentally – I become wide awake with anxiety. An eye mask is a MUST for me to be able to sleep. And THESE help too. Also love THIS pillow spray.

+ Breathing Easier : Got THIS Air Purifier just before the Corona craziness and it couldn’t have come at a better time. It makes the air feel cleaner AND helps alleviate my allergy symptoms so I have fewer moments of panic wondering if I have allergies or COVID-19.

+ Working Out : It doesn’t have to be intense, but the days I’ve moved my body (especially outside- still doing social distancing!) I feel 10000 times better mentally. THESE shoes are my fav, fav, favvvvvs of ALL TIME. They are SO comfortable and SO cute. I get so many compliments on them.

+ Comforting Candles : I basically have a candle burning in my house at all times. It helps me feel cozy and sets the mood. THIS is one of my all-time-favorite scents and it’s made by my friend Natalie! It is so important to support small businesses in this time- everything Natalie makes is chic AF and I guarantee this scent is unlike anything you’ve ever smelled in the best way.

+ Blue Light Protection : I think it’s safe to say most of us have upped our screen time in the Quarantimes. I have this exact pair of blue-light glasses in the tortoise color, which is sold out, but I actually am more obsessed with this clear/olive pair! These WORK. I 10000% notice a difference in my eye strain when I forget to wear them.

+ Luxe Laundry : Organizing, cleaning, doing laundry is not only beneficial to your stay-at-home life, but also helps give you a sense of control in uncertain times. I cannot shut tf up about THIS Bougie AF detergent literally every single time I post. Already went through my first bottle of Santal and replaced it with THIS scent and I truly don’t know which I love more. I save it for things like sheets/ my loungewear etc so I can savor the scent.

+ Entertainment Central : We cut the cord on cable YEARS ago and the AppleTV has saved our lives. The name confused me at first because it’s not actually a TV, it’s a tiny, 4 inch box that connects to your TV and allows you to stream the necessities: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ , YouTube, Amazon etc plus rent movies – all in one place. You obviously have to have subscriptions to Hulu/Netflix etc. But the Apple TV is a one-time cost and WELL worth it, in my opinion. It also allows you to “airplay” or “mirror” your iPhone/iPad/Laptop screen to your TV which is clutch in so many situations.

+ Skin Savers : Staying inside can do a number on your skin. THIS humidifier has been literally life-changing for my skin and I cannot recommend it enough. Completely blown away at the price for the quality! Also veryyyyy impressed with the price to quality ratio on THIS clean-beauty overnight peel. I find moisture and exfoliation is key to keeping my skin glowing in the quarantine.

+ Slipper Goals : I live in THESE slippers. I am obsessed. They’re chic but comfy and just make anything I’m lounging in look intentional. DEFINITELY SIZE UP one size. Two sizes if you have wide feet. But so, so worth it. HERE’s a similar pair for less, too.

These are helping me stay sane in this crazy time. Along with some time outside every day {while staying socially distant}. Journaling and meditating. I’m doing the FREE 21 day meditation challenge from Oprah & Deepak Chopra right now and I highly recommend it, especially for beginning meditators! I’ve done all their previous ones and this one is focused on “hope in uncertain times” which is obviously very pertinent to the situation.

Would love to hear what you guys are doing, too!
