Must Have Gold Rings, Bracelets and other Jewelry for Summer

I can’t believe it since I’ve basically been inside the entire last 3 months but it already feels like Summer has hit LA. To me, nothing says Summer style like a tan {sunless, of course} draped in gold jewelry.

I’ve recently become much more aware of the level and background of companies I’m buying my jewelry from, especially Gold. Quality matters because you don’t want anything to turn your finger green or plating that fades away. I’m making more of an effort to curate quality over quantity, as well as seek out small and minority-owned businesses to grow my collection. Here are some favorites I’ve purchased recently am eyeing.

+ First up, dying for these stunning and stackable gold rings from Au-Rate. They’re a sustainable brand that uses recycled gold and makes all their jewelry in NYC. I also snagged this gold chain bracelet from them recently and haven’t taken it off since I got it. Passes the non-stop wear/shower test etc. There’s nothing like a bright red manicure, stacks on stacks of Gold rings and a crisp glass of white wine for Summer chic.

+ I purchased these twisted gold hoops from Lili Claspe a few weeks ago and they have quickly become a staple for me. I wore them non-stop when we were up at the lake and have had no issues with them tarnishing from the 78 layers of sunscreen I wear on the daily. I love them so much I think I’m going to snag the small version too. I’m also anxiously awaiting a restock of this gold chain necklace and this tennis necklace. I can’t wait. I follow the founder on IG and her story is so inspiring. She works her butt off and has overcome so many hardships to get where she is.

+ Speaking of twisted hoops I’m DYING over this unique pair from Natalie McMillan. Everything Natalie does is chic with a slight edge and I feel like these earrings are meant for the elevated bad-girl inside us all. Bonus points, Natalie is a dear friend and these are named after her Frenchie, Zepplin, who I can confirm is the cutest dog I’ve ever met in my life. She hand makes each of her pieces and her entire line is a signature style unlike anything else. I also own and love this pair of hoops which are a standout and I’ve never seen anything even close to their style.

+ Another Summer look I love is layer upon layer of Gold bracelets. No one does this better than By Chari. I want all of her stacks, honestly but especially have my eye on this dainty bracelet with a diamond accent and this gold cuff. Her line is made sustainably here in LA, love to see it.
