This is the first of a regular series I’ll be doing running down my IG outfits so I can share a little more insight about the outfits themselves and they’re more easily shoppable if you see something you can’t live without!
You can’t go wrong with elevated basics. A white top and blue jeans are standard but both of these pieces are unique versions of those, which makes it so much more chic. I wore this to a brunch with girlfriends at the Terra rooftop of Eataly LA {highly recommend} and it was SO HOT. This blouse was a Summer outfit savior because it allowed a lot of airflow.

PS – I cut the bottom of these jeans- they don’t come like this! I feel like this is a must especially for my fellow petite gals- gotta show a lil ankle action! I would size up in these jeans, too. They do stretch with wear but still run a bit small.
Let’s start with HOW STUNNING IS THIS SUNSET?! This was on our drive home from Lake Arrowhead and it was breathtaking. Like, I actually gasped. This photo is practically unedited – the colors were UNREAL.
To be honest, I usually change into comfy clothes for the drive to and from the lake- but we were just there for a day trip so I didn’t bring a change of clothes. Thank God because this shot wouldn’t have had the same vibe if I was in my yoga pants and hoodie lol. Have I mentioned I love button-down shirts? Lol.

I wore this look to Street Style Cinema at The Grove – one of my favorite nights of the Summer where they show fashion movies outdoors under white twinkly lights. This time we watched “The Devil Wears Prada”. Something about it feels very “old hollywood” so I went for classic black and white with a red lip.

This was my outfit for 4th of July this year! I always feel like it’s fun to dress festively for the holidays and the 4th is such a fun one to play around with because who doesn’t love some red, white and blue?!
We always go to the lake for 4th of July and it’s one of my favorite holidays. They do fireworks from the water so we take the boat out in the dark and watch while floating on the lake- it feels like a fairytale.
That said, this is a Summer Outfit that can be worn the whole season, not just for the holiday.
It was sunny but a little chilly for me this year {I’m basically a cat, I need warmth and sunshine to thrive} so I opted for a jean jacket on top of my outfit. This is a men’s jacket and I love the oversized fit.
