I feel like this time of year is always somewhat confusing style-wise. I always expect Fall to hit me full-force the second September hits; like, bring on the freshly sharpened pencils for back-to-school, turn everything shades of burnt orange and hand me pumpkin-spiced-latte. (I actually hate PSL’s but you get the idea).
Except I’m pretty sure without fail, September and October always wind up being the hottest months of the year followed by temperatures dropping DRASTICALLY the weekend of Halloween just to make wearing sexy Halloween outfits that much more difficult. WOW. Thanks for nothing, WEATHER. (Actually, it’s fine, because I’ve been force-feeding myself Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Whole Foods so, by all means.)
Anyway, it’s never too early to be thinking TRANSITIONS. It’s all about those light layers so you can alter your life according to the weather’s whims. Below are some outfits I’ve been rocking on the GRAM recently and I feel like they all make solid Summer to Fall transition options since LA has been drowning in FOG all Summer anyway.
