Everyday Princess – A Casual look inspired by Elsa from Frozen

I think it’s really important to find opportunities in life to let go of all the BS and just have FUN. We get so f*ing serious as we get older- seeking out the moments where you can be ridiculous and playful and feel like a kid again is NECESSARY to function and minimize the moments you feel the urge to punch people in the face.

Mark and I are both HUGE Disney fans. Like, we have our own hand-curated Disney playlist {you can find it HERE}, and we may or may not play a Disneyland scavenger hunt game when we visit the park with our friends lol.

TBH, I wasn’t obsessed with the OG Frozen and still think Tangled is the most underrated Disney movie of all time {a hill I will die on}, BUT I was still EXCITED AF to see Frozen 2 in theaters. So I decided to dress up like a princess. And I effing LOVED it.

Two little girls outside the theater were ALSO dressed up as princesses and they whispered to each other, “Look! She’s a princess too!” so OBVIOUSLY it was pretty legit.

I encourage you to look for opportunities in your life to let go, have fun and PLAY. This time of year presents some easy options. Some of my favs: grabbing hot cocoa {spiked if you’re sassy} and going around to look at Christmas lights, ice skating, decorating and singing to Christmas jams. Just get out there and be ridiculously enthusiastic about SOMETHING.
